Reuters out of London, reports that global temperatures could rise another 2 degrees Celsius by the year 2030. If true, this would exceed the levels that are generally accepted as “safe” for a normally functioning Earth System. Warming temperatures are currently causing greater floods, increasing droughts and crop failures across the globe.
